Issue:
When attempting to submit an IRP6 202701 return for individuals aged 65 and older, the following validation error may be displayed: “Invalid Rebate amount for persons over 65.”

Status
[31 August 2026] The submissions issue has been resolved. Previously submitted returns have also been fixed. If you identify any returns that have not been corrected, please report them to us so we can investigate further.
[28 August 2026] We have received an update from SARS confirming that the IRP6 fix relating to the Rebates issue is scheduled to be deployed to Production tonight. We will proceed with testing once the fix is available and provide a further update thereafter.
[13 August 2026] We have completed our investigation on the GreatSoft side and confirmed that the issue appears to be related to SARS functionality.
The issue has been escalated to SARS, and SARS has confirmed that the issue will be resolved as part of the patch fix scheduled for Friday, 14 August 2026.
