SARS: Provisional Statement of Account Error

Issue: Currently Provisional Statement of Accounts (‘Prov SOA’) are experiencing the following issues when trying to request via GreatSoft (‘GS’):
SARS: Request for statement of account has been send to Sars please check within 10 minutes of receiving this message
There was a problem requesting your statement of account, please contact ISV administrator

Date First Reported: 21 January 2026

Status
[15 February 2026] When waiting longer for bigger batches, the 10min waiting time is no longer an issue
[28 January 2026] Interfront is still actively investigating the queueing issue.
[23 January 2026] Interfront has indicated that they are investigating the queueing issue.
[21 January 2026] We have escalated this issue to Interfront (the third party responsible for the link between GS and eFiling) for further investigation.

Fix Timeline
[15 February 2026] No fix was needed, however a longer waiting time for bigger batches proofs successful when requesting prov statements
[23 January 2026] Interfront are busy investigating and no fix timeline is available yet.
[21 January 2026] The issue is currently under investigation, and there is no confirmed date for a fix yet.

Workarounds
[15 February 2026] No workaround needed. The process is as follows: Use the Provisional Tax (IRP6) Request Provisional Tax Account Statement by Tax Year option, then use the Office, Group, Taxpayer Type, Partner, Manager and Incharge filters to keep the request smaller and please wait minimum 10 minutes before making the second request.
