SARS Bug: ITR14 eFiling Submission Issues

Issue Details: There is an ongoing issue with submitting ITR14 returns. Although the ITR14 return and supporting documents are successfully submitted via GreatSoft (GS), an error message saying “No tracking records found” appears when trying to access the return in eFiling. As a result, no assessments are being issued. This issue has been escalated to management at Interfront, the third-party intermediary between GS and eFiling, and they are actively investigating.

Status
[16 January 2025] In December 2024, SARS informed us that all returns submitted approximately between 7 and 13 November 2024 required resubmission. We then received the list of affected returns and completed the necessary resubmissions. If any returns still show a ‘Queued’ status / show as ‘”No tracking records found” on eFiling, please notify us so we can escalate the matter.
[19 November 2024] SARS has confirmed that they have resolved all the affected returns. However, if a return still shows as ‘No tracking record found,’ please send me the tax reference number and year of assessment so I can escalate it to them. You can email the details to zandre.vanrooyen@greatsoft.co.za.
[15 November 2024] SARS has implemented the fix, and all ITR14 returns will now correctly reflect on eFiling.
[13 November 2024] SARS has identified the issue and are currently working on the fix.
[12 November 2024]
 We have escalated the issue to Interfront, the third-party intermediary between GS and eFiling and they are actively investigating the issue

[15 November 2024] SARS is still working on fixing the affected returns. Once they confirm the fix is complete, this post will be updated. If any issues persist with those returns, please let us know so we can escalate them.
[12 November 2024] Any urgent submission should be done directly via eFiling. Otherwise, we suggest waiting until the issue is resolved.
