Issue: When submitting returns older than the 2024 YOA, the following error is blocking submission: ‘SARS: Does the company confirm that the person appointed as public officer is mandatory?’

Status
[18 February 2025] The issue has been resolved.
[12 February 2025] SARS has indicated that, if everything goes as planned, a fix will be applied over the weekend.
[5 February 2025] We have escalated this issue to the third party responsible for the link between GS and eFiling for further investigation.
Fix Timeline
[18 February 2025] SARS applied a fix for this issue over the weekend, and we have received confirmation that it has been resolved.
[12 February 2025] A fix is scheduled to be applied this coming weekend (14 February 2025).
[5 February 2025] There is no confirmed date yet, but we will keep you posted.
Workarounds
[18 February 2025] The issue has been resolved, and submissions via GreatSoft can now continue as normal. No further workarounds are needed.
[5 February 2025] Any urgent submissions will have to be done via eFiling.
